Finally chopped up some footage and slapped something together. Can't wait to learn more. Everything was filmed with a Canon 7D and mostly a 50mm f/1.2 L.

Wu-Tang Clan

Over the weekend I was up in San Francisco to photograph Rock The Bells. In particular, to photograph one of the most prolific hip hop acts of all time, the Wu-Tang Clan. They performed their iconic album "36 Chambers" in it's entirety, (something that may never happen again). On top of this, they also had O.D.B.'s son, Boy Jones, on stage with them, rapping his father's parts. O.D.B. was a founding member of Wu-Tang, he passed away back in 2004, 2 days before his birthday.

*Special thanks to my doods Taylor + Jeepilicious for being dope, and willing to help me do my thang, ahaha.

GZA + Masta Killa, pre-show.

Method Man hyping up the crowd before everyone walked out.

Some iPhone videos I took between photos:

A series of portraits of hip hop artist's that I photographed while up in SF over the weekend. Due to the hectic schedule of the festival, I only had a few moments with each artist. In some cases, only a few frames. Shooting under pressure really forced me to get down to business...

mixing things up a bit.

I usually dont shoot/post content like this. However, my good friend and band-mate, Drew, recently asked me to shoot some maternity photos for him and his lady. I had a lot of fun putting my twist on maternity photos. It's always fun when I'm able to shoot important photos for friends and family.
